Scope / Summary

The work covered on the project was the structural upgrade and modernization of the Grossmont Union High School District’s office building.  Grossmont’s 90-year-old, 35,000-square-foot district office building was the first classroom building constructed for Grossmont High School.  To honor the historic features of the building, the construction team refurbished the iconic stone veneer, install replicas of the original-style wood windows and reuse the existing wood floors. The project consisted mostly of a structural framing restoration while maintaining the existing aged character of the building.
