Scope / Summary

The Math and Natural Science Building is a new four-story building with over 206,000 gross square feet of classroom and lab space and nearly 250,000 sf of place and finish slabs and metal decks.  The large grade beam type foundation consisting of over 2600cy of concrete on cast in place drilled piers provided the foundation for the nearly 52,000 sf of building footprint.  Each level consisted of over 400 embedded anchors for the pre cast concrete façade and storefront, which required precise layout and installation.  This was accomplished by utilizing the latest in construction technology such as the Total Station.  The Project is certified LEED Silver and was completed in late 2013.
